2014 Super Nationals

Hi Guys haven't been on here in a long time. Just wondering has anyone heard of the dates for next years Nationals. I have heard that the dates are from the 15 to the 17 May. The 15 is a Thursday, would that be possible starting a show like that on a Thursday. I am planning to come over for the show. Cheers All:-drink

I'll bump this back to the top for you in hopes you'll get an answer. Will you be doing other travelling while you're in the States?

just checked their web page.... no 2014 dates yet... but it's usually the 3rd weekend in May... but things have been kinda wonky with the supernats the last couple of years.... you might want to wait till early next year to firm up your plans...

Rojak I am hoping to spend some time around the tennesse area before heading to Seattle to do an Alaskan cruise then spend a few days in Vegas again for the missus birthday. I am over in the states for three weeks.

Sailing north from Seattle, you want a cabin on the starboard (right) side.

"She who must be obeyed" and I have taken 5 AK cruises since 2004, 2 were cruise tours.

September 2004: Royal Caribbean: Vancouver/Ketchikan/Juneau/Skagway/Icy Point/Hubbard Glacier, by rail Seward/Anchorage/Denali/Fairbanks.

2005: Holland-America: Anchorage/Seward/Hubbard Glacier/Icy Point/Sitka/Skagway/Juneau/Ketchikan/Vancouver.

2006: Celebrity: Repositioning cruise: Vancouver/Ketchikan/Juneau/Skagway/Icy Point/Hubbard Glacier/Sitka/Victoria BC/Seattle/San Francisco/Catalina Island/Los Angeles.

2010: See 2005, same cruise line, same cruise.

May 2013: Holland-America: Vancouver/Juneau/Skagway, motorcoach to: White Horse/Dawson City Yukon, Tok/Fairbanks, by rail Fairbanks/Denali/Anchorage.

3 day F100 Super National Truck/Car Show/swap meet held in Pigeon Forge TN in May. I attended the 2008 event when it was held in Knoxville TN

I know you know when/where the F100 Western Nationals is held!

There are several FTE members in Tennesee and the Northwest (Seattle area) if you have the time. I know it is hard to convince our wives that meeting up with FTE members is a priority when on vacation. Sounds like a great trip. Have you ever been in the States before? I think Aussie Cowboy is coming over in 2014 as well.

Rojak I have been to the states several times, the last time was September 2013. I have attended the 2008 Western Nationals and had the pleasure of staying at NumberDummy (Bill) place, he is last of the real gentlemen. I would love to bring my F100 over one day, but it is a bit costly.:-drink

I'm sure I'm going this year, (there's another show this same weekend that I attended every year, but I've sold my roadster)

I'm looking to make a hotel reservation, anyone recommend one in Pigeon Forge close to the show?
I google mapped it and there are a lot to choose from, thought it might be nice to meet some of you FTE'ers.

is there a hotel you meet up at?

Here is a link to the F100 supernationals May 15 -17 the show does start on Thursday. The link has some lodging on it also. I only live about 1 hour away and have enter my truck the last two years.

My dad and I will be down to the supernats this year. Haven't been since 07' when the show was in the ghetto.

GMbusa 02-14-2014 02:34 AM

You can actually go east on I-40 at the split and then take highway 411 from Newport down to Sevierville if the traffic is really bad on 66 between Sevierville and Exit 407.
