Spartan Stock No Dpf Tune Question
 

Quick question, I dont have the dpf delete pipe in my truck yet, can I run the stock no dpf tune?

Ive tried searching a fair bit but cant seem to find the answer. I am going camping today and have the tuner set to the 40hp tune for the towing I will do, but I was thinking if the stock no dpf tune would work, I might do that.

I don't have a spartan (H&S) but I would say that you can't run a no DPF tune if you still have the DPF on the truck. In a no DPF tune the spartan will stop the cleaning from happening and the dpf will fill up with soot and then the truck will probably shut down or go into safe mode and greatly reduce your power. At some point the exhaust would completely clog and the truck would just die. Hope this don't seem overly dramatic but I think that's what would happen if you drove enough miles. probably not many if you are towing something heavy. Hope you got this in time.

I wouldn't run it. The DPF will stop up.
I ran the Spartan for a few days before I deleted it. I don't remember what tune. I think 150.

I now run the 275 daily. I love it.
