08 Edge... No PS brake light or taillight
Hello all... I have a 2008 Ford Edge with 90xxx miles... vehicle came in with no passenger side turn signal... I replaced the bulb to no avail... I checked the wiring with a test light and now I have no brake light or turn signal. I have heard about possible melting/relay issues with these vehicles. Should I replace the fuse and the tail/stop light relay and go from there? The light socket appears to be slightly overheated but it does work. TIA

Just an update on the problem. I switched the sockets and bulb from the passenger side to the drivers side and they work correctly so I know the socket isn't bad. We checked all the fuses and found a bad 15 amp fuse. We now have running lights but still no brake light or right turn signal. I checked the fuses/relays under the dash and the relays/fuses under the hood. Did I miss anything?

Did you verify the brake/turn signal worked when you switched them with the driver side? The only work I have done to this vehicle in the 65K miles we have owned it (since new) is to replace those bulbs. I have done the passenger side once and the driver side twice.
