ford courier with fairmount gt 351 engine
 
hey there guys im new:-wink

i have a ford 1998 courier bakkie with a newly coverted fairmount gt 351 engine in it but i seem to be having problems with the sump...
any ideas for me???

He must be from Austrailia or South America. They make Ford Couriers there but usually with a diesel in them.

slysai: Welcome to FTE! Your sump from a Fairmont should be a dual sump, right? So you will need either a front or rear, depending on how things lined up.

A little search shows the South African Fairmont GT to be the same as the Australian Falcon GT. These are unrelated to the Fairmont sold in the US. The engine should be a 351C. So, you will have to figure out your sump needs, and you may have to get a custom or aftermarket pan, as I doubt the scrap yards are full of this type of engine in your area.
