When pressurizing hpop should it leak air out of shaft seal??
 

After removing hpop cover I applied shop air to fitting on top of pump and was getting air leaking from pump shaft seal so I bought a new pump. When I checked the new pump it did the same thing. The guy at parts dept. said this is normal. I am just wanting to make sure this is accurate.tia

Some leakage around the pump shaft seal is normal according the shop manual.
