In need of some 73-79 parts

I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction, as far as people or yards where i could find some good body parts, box, fenders, and doors.

I just got my dads old 79 back and I'm trying to get it back to the way it I remember it when I was little. I came home from the hospital in this truck and my first memories of my father are in there, he passed in 97 a few months after he reluctantly sold it.

I also need to locate a western plow frame for it, and turbine style wheels for 35x12.50x16.5 tires. Any advice or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the thread from the dent forum my brother started.

Not real sure on parts that I know of but Windy Hill Auto Parts has a lot of old classic stuff. Not sure what they have for that year of truck but worth a call I think.

Sounds like a great project that will have a lot of meaning behind it!

Thank you I may just run out there and take a look next week. I plumb forgot about that yard, even though him and I went there a few time to get parts for his old y-blocks.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is a good place to start searching yards. Craigslist is a good spot to search for whole trucks (and a few parts).

With that age of truck, there are a few around still. Finding them in good shape is the trick.
