6.4L DPF & EGR Delete... Is it worth it?
 

2008 F-250 with 132k. havent had any mechanical problems, just wondering what some of you guys think about the delete and programmer being worth it or if is not worth doing at this point.

been looking at the H&S Race tuner, obviously the street tuner wont work with the delte kits and have a couple of H&S tuners lined up and even a Spartan tuner that will work with the DPF Delete.

I plan to keep this truck for a couple more years, i tow trailers pretty regularly and do good mix of city and highway. put a little over 30,000 miles on in a year. So i guess the question is, are the mechanical advantages going to outweigh the costs and disadvantages of the delete. I can get around all inspections and my mechanic will still work on truck with this all done.

Bestadvice to a good running truck is to leave it a good running truck. Step away from the wrenches.

Seriously with alot of towing you are best to leave in closer to stock then not.

Maintance is where its at and you seem to have that going on.

I have 79K on mine and don't plan on doing anything to it.
