Replacing Lower Seat Cushion and Cover
 

I have a 2007 Navigator L. I am fairly certain that the previous owner was, shall we say, a big dude. the side of the seat cover is split and I can feel where the cushion foam has split. I have already bought the new foam and cover. I did this same repair on my 06 Expedition, but the plastic trim looks very different on the 07 (which makes sense). I tried searching but cant seem to find any step by step or descriptions on how to disassemble the seats. Anyone have this or have done this?

You likely won't find a step by step instruction sheet. It's kind of a try and see situation. Have you taken the seat out of the truck? That makes it much easier.

Yeah that was my plan, I did when I did the seats in my 06. I couldnt fathom doing them while the seat was in the vehicle. I was really just curious about all of the plastic trim, didnt want to break it.
