Flex and Towing

Hi all,

Does anybody have any stories or experience towing with a Flex?

I have an '09, sealing the deal on the Flex was the towing capacity of 4500 lbs., my boat falls in that range. I have avoided towing for the past 4.5 years and now my wife insists on using the Flex to tow the boat...

Once again, anybody have towing stories to share? Maybe some pics of your rig.

Thanks a bunch,

Archie

Hi all,

I answered my own question and wanted to share that the flex works great as a tow vehicle. Launching and retrieving was great.

Sorry you didn't get any response Archie. I guess this section of FTE isn't as well traveled as some others, perhaps.:(

Anyway, that is an outstanding combination.:-X22

Nice how the boat, trailer, and Flex all kind of mesh together with the near identical colors....looks great!:)

Maybe you'll breathe a little life into this forum.;)

My Flex tows these two couches much better than my Expedition, of course, we're comparing 230hp with 350hp, and equal torque but at thousands of rpm lower. Oh, the highway mileage while towing is no comparison at 11mpg vs 17mpg.
