Good evening Northerners,

I am from KS and asked around our chapter as I havent had much luck locating any salvage yards in our area but was told of large mythical yards in southern Nebraska and was wondering if there was any truth to this>? Your secret is safe, just needing a few odds and ends for my 48f1. Thanks for your help fellas and either way, good luck with your projects or daily drivers.

Leader Pat might know of some also. He was going after some 67 parts last weekend but "wimped out". Heck, if it's cold you don't have to worry about bees and snakes.

Wimped out my butt!.....Okay, I wimped...I don't know of a lot of yards in southern Nebraska, I've only been to the ones here in Omaha and Lincoln. Most of them don't have any of the older stuff, they gotten rid of it for the newer vehicles. Hopefully someone from that part of the state can chime in.

Thanks for your help guys. Actually found and visited one outside of Junction City, KS earlier this week. if youre ever in the area look up Easy Jack & Sons-Welsh antique auto parts store. Have a lot of real neat old cars and probably around 20 or so 46-54 ford trucks. Also do part locating. Again, thanks for your help

ya there are a few good junkyards around here. put they are getting picked over. and with u pull in linclon now and all the damn iron buyers running around its hard to find good sheet metal. watts has a few things now and again but not like he used to.

Only 1 DENT & 2 BUMP sides in U Pull It today when I was up their. Nothing great on any of them.

We call that yard High Jack, as you better have deep pockets if you want to buy!
Another yard, is up at Delphos Ks, Borell Auto Salvage. He has a lot of older stuff
