removing head rest
On a 2012 Superduty SC front center seat/flip console - Both driver and pass have the button release thingy, but the center one is nowhere to be found :-huh ...Just seems to get in the way and nobody's using it.
Is it under the fabric somewhere or does it just get yanked out with some effort? Sorry, still can't seem to post a pic in a thread. |
I have the front center seat in my CC. I removed the headrest but I did it a couple years back, right after I bought it. I believe you have to reach down in and find the release for it. Dig around where you'd think it to be (between the headrest and the top of the seat), it's in there.
All my rear seat head rests are out too... |
Yeah. I took mine off cuz it got in the way of my cb radio. To remove it you have to depress two buttons at the same time(located under the headrest). Then lift it off. It helps to have regular size fingers for this, not big fat ones. :)

Thanks guys, I'll give it another try today.

I removed mine today. You would think the button would be on the outside on both adjusters and not one on the outside and the passanger side on the inside.
|
Yep, your right...one on the inside, one on the outside - rather small too like previously mentioned.

I noticed while cleaning my truck today that they're both on the "driver" side of the headrest poles, it is strange...
