Motor mounts for 302 w/C4 in my '63
 

I have a '63 uni that has a 302 and C4 in it from a PO.

The engine mounts are really funkey and I want to replace them with some bolt on mounts from TransDapt. The present location for the engine has it too high and too far back and it is also at an angle.

If you have done this installation or know of someone who has I want to know where the mounts should be located.

If I slide the engine forward enough for the exhaust manifold to clear the steering box the engine mounts on the frame will be located where the brake hoses go through the frame.

Can anyone tell me some dimensions for the correct placement of the engine like how far from the firewall it should be?

Or better yet if you have done this installation with these motor mounts, tell me where you ended up on the frame with the mounts.
