Opinions wanted. Whats it worth?

I have the opportunity to buy a 60 F-100 that has had a frame off restoration a couple years ago. I havent seen truck in person yet so I'm not sure of quality of build. Truck needs a headliner and a heater switch. I has a 223 and a 3 speed maual column shift. Truck is completely origional down to the generator. My research shows the prices for restored origional trucks of this year are selling for no less that 14k and upwards of 25k. So my question in. Whats it worth?

Impossible for anyone to give an accurate - or even a semi-accurate - estimate using only a brief description of the drivetrain, and a couple minor details. You would need some very good photos, at the least. I say 25 dollars based on the info.

Are we talking original cloth harness type restoration? Is the seat recovered with the original style material? All the questions that must be answered to assign value. Usually, the truck will be worth what you pay for it. This site is greatly occupied by folks who use and love their trucks. I am certain there are those here who own solely for investment but that is not the majority of those posting here. If you get a chance to buy a great truck, go for it if you feel it is worth it. You could put up tons of pics and tell us what the asking price is and we will either support the purchase or offer opinions to the contrary. At any rate, you can't go wrong with a '60!
