Roof Racks
 

Hello Folks!

Anyone out there know of a reasonably priced, removable roof rack that will fit a 2012 F-250 Crew Cab with a cab-high shell?

I have an occasional need for a rack to carry an kayak. The only thing I've found so far are the $300 - $400+ Yakima/Thule/Rhino rack systems that just seem to be bit of overkill for the occasional use that it will see.

I've found racks that are held on by running a strap from one side of the rack, through the cab, and back to the rack. Thats seems pretty lame, especially for long distance traveling.

I've found reasonable racks that are fixed-mounted to the shell, but because of limited garage door clearance, that won't work either.
