That is VERY cool!!! Glad to hear! Your truck is just amazing. My neighbors would have a heart attack if that thing came down the road.

Show us some more pics of that camper when you can.

Need to paint that teardrop to match your truck, or at least some orange trim!

Is that an offer to host Truckstock '13?

Yes. But Bob has stated an interest in doing the next one in Wisconsin. I'm just giving him time to decide.

That's still a long way from California. Not sure if they wife would want to vacation in Wisconsin.

Do it somewhere between Texas and West Virginia and you'll have to put up with my son and me!

No reason not to consider multiple TS's around the country. The CA boys could probably have one of their own, there are enough of them. NM-UT-AZ-CO probably isn't quite enough folks, unless the meet was near the Front Range, then it could draw KS, OK, WY, West TX, etc. Pac NW ?

If there were only going to be one, with max participation and max number of old trucks driven there, I'd guess it should be in northern MO. It all depends on what the criteria is, the place, etc.

I would be willing to do it again, and I also would be just as willing to travel someplace else and enjoy a change of scenery. The regional idea is a good one. I'll just go with the flow on that. There are indeed things that I would do differently next year. But I'm gonna say this again--that entire week and weekend with total "strangers" was seemingly perfect. I think Larry summed it up while we were talking about it--like minded people with similar values and ideas..... I've honestly had family cookouts and reunions that were 20X more stressful.

Man that is one beautiful truck, my hat is off to you, and I have always liked teardrops, its nice to see them on the road again/still.

A half mile SE of Plato Mo in Texas County Mo is the center of the USA population so wouldn't that would make it a good place to have it. :-X22

Cool. I'm guessing you're less than 100 miles away from Bob. If he does it, he'll need a lot of help beforehand. It's a lot of hard work. ;)

homade 11-30-2012 05:17 PM

I don't care where it is as long as we can have as much fun as we did at Doc and Amy"s place.
Tom, the tear drop looks great but we need more pics.

jhaas63 11-30-2012 05:39 PM

I am probably near that 100 mile mark....

Regardless I would certainly do what I can to help out to bring a fun event together.
