1960 F100 Carpet edge?

Anyone have a remedy for carpet ends pulling up at the edge of the step? I have searched the internet for scuff plates or something that cover the edge of carpets without any luck. I assume it will need to be fabricated. Any ideas?

Carpet? Oh, the stuff you put on the floor! I get it! Still don't have any in mine!

Are you thinking of cutting out two pieces and welding them together at the corner?

I've seen pictures of these that I think are custom made.. I'll have to find some pictures.
But yes, if I could get the right bend to work around the step..

I have considered this also. If you figure this out please share your work.
I've thought about a cheap stretcher/shrinker from Harbor Fright and using a piece of light gage stainless steel angle. But have never played with stretcher/shrinker.
Good luck in your quest.
