P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient detected
I recently changed my EGR valve, Oil and EGR cooler. Since replacing those I have no upper end power. IE when driving 55mph if I floor it I get no acceleration, or boost. My turbo was replaced 6 months ago. I get up to 21 boost when coming off the line but nothing at upper speeds.
Codes are P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected P132B No description Found in DTC database. Any ideas where I should start? I have a cold air intake and I'm going to clean the filter but I doubt that has anything to do with it. |
What year is your truck?
Here are a couple things I found: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...132b-code.html https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ck-of-dtc.html Any way to read any PIDs? Like EB and MAP? VGT%? |
P132B= turbocharger/supercharger boost control "A" performance
|
The stock air filter is really terrific and
Does a far better job of protecting your turbo from dirt. Ditch the after-market one. |
OIL SOAKED MAF SENSOR MAYBE

Kind of wierd on the year. The door says 2003 but the motor is early 2004. Thanks for the links. I'll check them out. |

Thanks I'll check that out. It would be great to find something simple like that. |
P132B is a code related to the calibration from the recall 06E17 (part of the Inferred EBP strategy). It means that there is a problem with the VGT system. P132B is a fault code that is set if the required boost levels are not achieved during a learn cycle or at specific speed fuel demand points. This code indicates that there are issues with the turbocharger, MAF sensor, MAP sensor/hose, IAT2 sensor, intake leaks, or exhaust leaks, etc. Frequently it is a sticking turbo issue. This code can also throw a P0401 EGR code.
