Can 20" Chrome Expedition Rims be fixed?

I just had tires replaced at a local shop and they damaged the lip of three of my wheels. They basically used that tire iron they use to fit the tires and bent a 2-inch portion of the lip out.

I put in a claim with their insurance company and was just notified that they would pay and to please submit estimates for repair.

I don't want to seem like a know-it-all by saying that they have to replace them so I'm going to visit a couple of wheel repair shops to see if they can, in fact, be repaired. However, since I know some places will just tell you "yeah sure we can fix that" and then do a piss-poor job just to make money I wanted to ask people that would actually know.

Can these wheels be repaired?

I realize that there are "Chrome" and "Polished" wheels so I looked on the original window sticker and it says "20-inch Chrome Clad Wheels" so I am correct in saying they are chrome.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Here is the type of wheel I have on my vehicle:

Anything less than a full stripdown of the chrome plating, straightening, and replating should be avoided IMO

No Repair

2010ExpL, I don't believe they can be repaired. The actual wheels aren't chromed they are chrome clad which basically means they have a chrome hub cap glued to the face of an aluminum wheel. This hub cap is chromed plastic. If the plastic part is messed up then you out of luck as no one makes a replacement hub cap.
I would ask for new ones.

Glad I asked....Thanks all for the responses. I also took the time to ask around and no one would touch them so new ones it is.

Thanks again.

New replacements are expensive. You can find 4 better aftermarket wheels for less than 3 OEM originals.

This is what I did. Went with Liquid Metal's Lithium 6 @ $239 each.

Get new one at dealer. Don't mess with refurbishing. Chrome won't match existing wheels. Their mistake.
