JB's 78 Super Cab Build

Well a couple of weeks ago I picked up a 1978 F250 Super Cab 4x4 from Boggin79ford.
He was very easy to work with and I got the truck shipped to my place.
I have been wanting a super cab since I got my first dent but just didn't have the money.
I worked out a plan with my parents and I got her home.

Plans:
6 inch lift
14 bolt swap
Hydroboost Brake
38 inch Toyo's or Nitto's
18 inch Badlands XD's
Candy apple red paint job
Stroked 460/C6

Right now I'm in the middle of swapping in a 351m that I had built for a different truck.
Going to run that for a couple years till I have the money to build a huge 460.
Once I get it running I am going to pull the bed, do all the body work and paint it to go with the 78 F150 when I sell it. Then will paint the bed that came on the F150 to go on the Supercab.
Doing this so will have dual gas tank doors instead of the cap sticking out of the bed.

Once I get the money from the F150 sale then I will buy the lift and tires.
Probably will go with front super duty springs and crossover steering.
Also the 14 bolt swap so I can get disc brakes in the back.

Don't have many pictures of it right now. Once I get the motor in I will have to get some good ones. Maybe I can get Boggin to post up the pics in his ad.

Thank you KBrenner for helping me out. This is all I have so far. More should be coming when I get it put back together next week.

I hope you get it running soon so that way we can load my bronco seats in the bed of it and go get them recovered. PS that engine hoist sure looks familiar.

Well i'm back on the super cab again. I have got the engine ready to start but my engine guy is in the hospital. He started our 460 and adjusted the carb for us. Since he is going to be a while and I want to drive the truck i figured i would start it by myself. I already have zinc additive in the oil so I should be good there. The motor has been sitting for a while so I was going to re-prime the motor with oil before I started it. I know to run it for 20 minutes at 2000 rpm to break in the cam. Anything else I should do?
