Aaron, it is a Code 3, Force 4 LP6000 48" light bar and it has 4 rotators in it along with retrofitted red LED's on each side. I have been looking on the net and I may switch the LEDs out and put the diamond shaped mirrors on both sides to boost the number of flashes. I have found a place on ebay where I can get the mirrors for $10 each and the mounts to attach it to the truck for about $20. So all totaled, I may have about $60 into this light.
Evening everyone :) |
Afternoon Neil. Good find on the lightbar.

Evening Neil
You should put the light bar on the truck and take a picture so we can see it.. |

Here is a picture of a similar light bar. The one that I have does not have the center rotator light or the forward facing take down lights.
Looks good Neil.

Evening Don, the plan is to eventually get it on the truck. Just need to check it out to make sure that everything works and then order the parts that I need to install it. As I mentioned, the one I posted above is similar to the one that I got.

Afternoon Shaun.... kiddos arrive yet?

That it is Neil. Can you recommend some lottery numbers I can play? LOL.
HOLY CRAP! I was looking at the manufacturer's web site and the list price on that light is just under $1000
I can believe it..
They arte not cheap Neil. You should see the prices for the ones that mount on ambos. Talk about an eye opener.
Oh I know that they are not cheap. The one that we just had installed on our rescue is a 48" LED and with special pricing, it was still around $1700.
Neil, the freshman kiddos are back. The rest come back tomorrow.
