Good evening Gerry and Tim. I think I forgot to give an update on my VA appointment for my eye. This was a two week post-op visit. All is doing well and my sight is slowly progressing. I have an air bubble that I am looking through and that distorts my vision. My body will absorb the air and my vision will improve. I am still on restrictions as far as heavy lifting and straining go. I can do light exercise and ride. Progress!! |
Great progress Carl, glad to hear it..... you can ride but no work, docs orders, hehehe

Carl, bummer about the rain there. We are finally catching a break with some really awesome weather. A cold front blew through over the last couple of days and I left the house with 63° ambient temps and low humidity. Looking forward to sunny skies later on. Thanks for the update about your eye. Glad to see it progressing! Roy, that looks very relaxing. This is going to be a great day guys! Today is the last day of eating diet food for me, the perfume factory is making perfume again and is slowly lining out, the weather is gorgeous and it is my last day at work before a day off and starting nights. Also, there is football starting at noon around here! Tonight starts my next experiment with homemade adult beverages. I'm going to make a sparkling strawberry wine, using fresh strawberries. I'll know whether or not it is drinkable in two weeks! Dak, I agree completely about CON-gress. We need to make them all ex-cons instead of current cons. Have a great day gang! |
