Doug...my laptop was and IS a cluttered mess. Give Win 10 the time for you to decide if it's right for you, but I wouldn't worry about the clutter and the install. Just worry about the clutter not going away after the install, lol.

Have any of you found a safe way to connect a bike rack to the rear of an RV? I hear you can lose a bumper trying to go that route and even void your frame warranty. I saw a frame style receiver on Amazon and it looks like the right way to go, but I defer to you fine folks on what works best..
Here is the Amazon find I found. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033WNJV4..._.c9VvbQCR800P |

Win 10 Update:
I installed Win 10 on a laptop that I want to use just for Scouts. It had Win 7 Ultimate on it and I wanted to see how it would install/run on an older laptop. This is AMD M600 2.4Ghz laptop with 4gigs of ram. It's not new by any means, but it works well. I installed Win 10 on Friday and have been messing with it off and on all weekend. It ran decent before, but I'd say it runs slightly better now. I have yet to run into any issues and this laptop has so many drivers for my docking station at home, corporate offices, scouts (printers, track timers and equipment), etc. I give Win 10 a big thumbs up for this application. My computer in my office (the monster) has been running fine as well. I'm already used to the GUI (the graphical user interface) and in my opinion it takes the good from XP, Win 7 and Win * and combines them all. There is nothing really awesome or great (I haven't used the new browser yet, I'm a chrome guy), just smooth integration of what I liked in the older windows versions. Just my thoughts.

Hey, folks!
I saw that a few different people mentioned hearing this clunking noise; I'd recommend getting your trucks in to the dealer so they can get this documented. If possible, take your tech along for a drive so you can show them exactly what you're experiencing. As always, I'm here to help if you need me. :-X22 Crystal

Here is the Amazon find I found. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033WNJV4..._.c9VvbQCR800P Attachment 238932 Attachment 238933 I know yours is a travel trailer but one can be made to serve the same purpose. There is a Canadian company that makes one Arvika - Accueil They are pretty pricey, however it can make you think about how one can be made at home or your local welding shop. I can be made to sit behind your propane tanks on the the tongue of the trailer. Welded or bolted legs that come up to a receiver so that a platform or hanging bike rack will slide right into. Or something like this one https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...32762453c4.jpg Using the one pictured here will be a great starting point to make the perfect one for you. |
I always mounted my bike rack at the back of the trailer away from the bugs n all....
|
Monty, that is a good solution.
Gerry, I carry the bicycles in my garage. :) |

Hey Carl... Happy trails to you as well.
Tried to figure out ways to carry bicycles with a hitch as well. Even behind a car or truck hitch always seems problematic to me. |
Alright Roy!! I see he rolled out the red carpet for you too.
