Looks like we are headed back down to Bama next weekend (not this weekend) to look at homes on Lewis Smith Lake (known as Smith Lake), a lake that has emerald green water and is super clear. It will be a better fit for the family and a place they can easily swim compared to Guntersville. Overall a better recreational lake.

Gerry, it looks like we are sharing the rain. I don't remember a year with so much rain. It's been good for farmers, but I feel like I'm living in Seattle without the perks lol.

Sgt93 10-15-2014 08:34 AM

Whoa, glad everyone is ok Monty. An ambulance out of service is never good.

D, it's a better fit for the family for sure. The fishing is good on Smith, but Guntersville is one of the top bass fishing lakes in the world. It's an hour an change from Smith, so I could make day trips easily if need be. The though of my kids really not being able to swim in the G unless we went to the center of the lake by boat, was not good. I want them to run to the dock as soon as we arrive and jump in. That's what it's all about right? Family time is the best time. :)

For sure Steve. I hope you find a place the family will enjoy!
An hour is not bad

Prayers for Gavin's boy. His surgery is today.

Good morning truckers,

Darren, Thanks for sharing the photo's, looks like a good time.

Monty, Glad everyone was OK, bummer about the truck though.

Gerry - The garage looks great. Wish mine looked as nice :-X18

Sgt93 - How is the factory/stock sound system in your KR? I am curious as what to expect when mine arrives. I do like classic rock along with other various music, but I do like a good clean sound that, well, sounds good.

Gavin - Hope all goes well with your son's surgery.

Happy Hump day for those that are still working stiffs.
