2012 FX4 5.0 Magnaflow
 

Just yesterday after work I finally had my 14" magnaflow muffler (part# 11219) put on. I kept the resonater and used the stock pipe and also had a single-in dual-out tip welded on.
First off, the tone is great it sounds good and deep with hardly any interior resonance. I read some other threads and other owners said 14" may be too loud and that is NOT the case. I dont like super loud exhausts and this def isnt one of them. I am considering removing the resonator but I'm going to wait for the muffler to break in first. Only cost me $175 total.
Figured I would give you guys some input on an exhaust!

I love Magnaflow exhausts, not annoying loud.

Do you have any pics or sound clips? I wanna do that to my 5.0. Magnaflow has a sweet sound. I just dont want the resonating sound in the cab.

I can get pics one of these days I dont know about sounds clips, I'll see wat I can do. I know the muffler will burn out a little over time, but i dont expect any drastic sound change. As of right now, at idle or at a cruising speed the cab is very quiet. My parents said the same thing.
