Buying a shop

Hey guys, haven't been around in a while, but I still lurk on a weekly basis.
Anyway, back in Nov., Vince, the guy who owned the resto shop I used to work at called and asked if I wanted to come back full time. Thought about working on classics vs. new crap at the dealership and went back in a heartbeat.
So, things were going great until March or so. Then one day Vince pulled me aside and asked if I'd be interested in taking over the shop...not as a manager, but as the owner. Thought about that one for longer than a heartbeat(as a matter of fact, I swear my heart stopped for 30 sec)and decided to take the plunge.
To make a long story short, as of July 1, I took over Vince's Vintage Vehicles in Fox, AR(www.vincesvintage.net). Not changing the name as we do have a pretty good rep in the vintage car world in Arkansas, although I've had some good names suggested by my kids and wife.
Just to make you guys happy, in addition to the '57 Bel-Aire and the '58 Chev p/u and the '66 Impala and the '70 Road Runner, I've also got a '66 Mustang and a '68 Mustang in the works.
So if anyone needs something done on an old truck, from ground-up restoration to just installing a Vintage Air system or a Custom Auto Sound radio, I'm your huckleberry. Also, if you're on your way to Mountain View to listen to some music on the square, stop by and see the shop.
5 miles north of the store in Shirley on Hwy 9. Look for the back half of a '38 Chevy set up as a planter box out by the road. :-drink

That's great news, I hope you stay covered up with business; but then that means you won't have much time to waste on here. Oh well, this day & age employment comes before entertainment.

That's awesome man, just up the road a smidgen too.

We'll have to get up there one weekend and check out the shop.

My wife and I were thinking of hosting an open house some weekend, but it'll have to wait until it cools down some. Just too friggin' hot right now.
We're headed to Tulsa for the weekend, and I'm about to put the top back on her Jeep so we can use the a/c on the way.

You too? We dragged the 5th up here last night...going to take the kids to the aquarium & a Drillers game today. Tomorrow, haven't ironed out the details just quite yet...but I'm sure we'll find something to "entertain ourselves".}>

Well, as it ended up, we didn't hook up with our son as he was too busy(I think there's a Harry Chapin song in there somewhere).
So we found ways to get in trouble by ourselves.

Then we came home early. Got an engine I need to work on later today.
