F650 Getting a 3V 6.8 in 2013
 

I was scanning the internet for a chance to see the 2013 order guide & found the below PDF...

PAGE 17 - 650/750 get a 6.2 3v
Didn't see a HP/Ft# number - but we will see - I guess...

Also Found a "Fleet Guide" and it looks like there are three new colors - My favorite is the Kodiak Brown (darker brown) but a new red and a new blue - looks darker.

Looks like some interesting added options on the F-250/350/450 pickups. I saw the availability of heated rear seats now.;)

Yea - I saw the heated seat option.. If they would put the 3V in the 350's this year & I could get the Kodiak Brown - I might get a new truck payment this year. }>

I gotta stop buying first year motors... lol... The 6.8 with the 6spd would be a sweet combo.

Yea - Its gonna take a week to strip off all my custom stuff - Oasis Air & racks & such - But look at it this way - someone has to keep the economy growing! :-X03

We have been getting a lot of CNG training at work lately. I am a Heavy Equipment mechanic for the State. Diesel power trucks are going to be a thing of the past for large fleets here in So. Cal. CARB has stated that Diesel emissions are public enemy #1 in California. Ford is getting ahead in the game for the medium duty truck market by offering the V10. Should be interesting what the future holds for the Diesel engine. CNG powered trucks have a long way to go too. We have CNG powered street sweepers that cant make an 8 hour shift without refueling at least twice a day.

Ford had the V10 and I think the 5.4 setup for propane/gasoline or CNG/gasoline back in the 2000-2002 timeframe, I think. My service manual for my '01 has all the procedures and specs on them. "Bi-fuel" they're called.

I suspect the V10 will be continuing for a long time...

I'm confused...The title says 3V 6.8 but the first post say's 3V 6.2?Then everybody's talking about the V10?Is there gonna be a 3V 6.2?

Have I been in the sun too long today?
