It may be nothing and more like Dave said that they run at a different level. I did not have any volcano effect at all and no white smoke and my Coolant temp and oil temp never varied by more than 12 degrees.

Stop filling it up. They will puke until they hit the right level.

Michael, I'm spending your money... my purchases are on hold for a bit...

$2K is to rebuild mine and install new t/c. Not sure how much rebuild kits are. I've seen them from $250 - $750 depending on what you get.

I saw that one last night. It seems too cheap to be from a dealer. Since it will likely be a DD ( I don't want 3 vehicles), I'm not looking for a dually. Wife doesn't want one. I don't have anything requiring a dually (yet), nor do I have anywhere to store something requiring a dually.

Crew Cab is the only thing I'll even consider.

Hey Dustin ... wanna buy a truck?

1996 Ford F-250 XLT Crew Cab 7.3L Diesel

I don't really want to sell, so I set the price kind of high to see if I get any bites.

What's the reason you want to sell yours and not fix it?

OK than that is not so bad I guess.

Get some pics in your ad! That always helps to sell something.

Lots of reasons ,but mostly financial and age of the vehicle. MN/WI winters are not nice to vehicles. I want to get something different long term. Probably another F250. I have NOT had good luck with this truck. I've had it about 4 years and paid nearly twice the purchase price in repair costs. If I actually do get an offer for 4K, I'll be surprised. If I do get one, I'll probably take it. I'm expecting a NICE tax return next year. I'll use that to replace the truck.

Yup. I'll get the pics in when I get home. I just don't have any with me right now. I don't really want to sell right now. I do need to get out of this truck long term though. I've dumped way too much money into it and I don't foresee it giving any back.

The reddish brown cancer will still exist though. I can't erase 16+ years of Minnesota winters cost effectively. I'd rather sell this, sell our van and get a 99-03 super duty. I don't think I'll be able to afford anything beyond 03.
