Used Cooking Oil

I currently have over 3000gal of used cooking oil mainly peanut oil from a local fish house that changed their oil weekly. I want to know how to go about selling it. I see most people asking about a $1.50 per gal. But i also see that its a commodity and they get a pretty good price for it selling as yellow grease. Anyone got any ideas. Its all in 275gal plastic totes filled all the way to the tops.

man, you hit the jack pot!

why not use it yourself?

anyway, I'm selling filtered WVO for $2 a gallon...are you selling it unfiltered? If so any biodiesel maker will pay you quickly for it:)

Well I currently own a 2011 F250 and do not really want to run it on biodiesel while under warrenty. No it is not filtered right now.

Peanut oil will work okay for making biodiesel in the summer, but it sucks for winter fuel, since it has such a low cloud point.

And $1.50 per gallon? Maybe, if you've added some value -- which is to say, filtered it with a centrifuge and removed any water. Unless you've done both of those things, I wouldn't pay more than half that.

Your 2011 warranty covers running it on up to B20, but that of course is ASTM tested biodiesel.
