Either weekend works for me. Wifey works for the school and it works out a whole lot better to drive 1/2 the way across the state after her first paycheck hits the bank in September.

I'd definitely take you up on the offer to camp at the airbase.

Bossdrum 09-08-2012 06:08 PM

I've requested the 6-7th. Not sure i can stay the night out there but i will be coming out :)

fabmandelux 09-08-2012 06:53 PM

Bad news guys. Nothing after Oct will work here. I just got a letter from the Port today, and the asbestoes removal crews will be starting on the radar base the first of Oct.

There will be WAY to many "shirts" here to have any fun. Engineers, politicians, port officials.........

The weekend before that would still work...

I can do the Sept. 29th/30th

Bossdrum 09-09-2012 02:23 AM

fabmandelux 09-11-2012 09:54 AM

Just North of you in Condon.

Not far at all then. Have a friend that used to live in Lonerock until she passed away a couple years ago. Her Son still lives there.

Love that area up there.

fabmandelux 09-11-2012 09:58 AM

Lonerock is a nice little town, and I have some friends there.

I love living here.................

Brown Falcon 09-11-2012 03:15 PM

I won't be making it this year. I start classes again on the 24th, so I'll probably have lots of work to do that weekend.

bertha66 09-11-2012 05:49 PM

Wish I was going to but there, I will be in the land of fruits and nuts, going down to take care of my dad for a few days.

jwatkins 09-11-2012 07:44 PM

Count me in Don, 5 miles to travel doesn't seem to bad. Ha ha

fabmandelux 09-11-2012 09:51 PM

A slight issue has popped up is the motor home option still available. I'm going to need room in my pickup for lumber after we leave so I will have no room for our sleep number bed.

fabmandelux 09-22-2012 07:36 PM

Yep! It has power, but no water hooked up, and the AC works! It has two single beds, one on each side, is that ok?

Just way too much going on right now....... Dang nabbely it!

You guys have fun

892504x4 09-27-2012 10:36 PM

What time is the barbeque.

kjvforme 09-28-2012 12:29 AM

I think I might actually be done with the fire season, so thinking about coming up for the visit. I have the 62 Ford F100 4X4 registered and all four tires are the same size. Working on the fuel system, have carb kit. Think the accelerator pump is clogged or diaphram shot. Truck runs great at idle but stumbles when coming off of idle and transitioning to regular throttle. The 223 ticks a little but when your that old you would too. Oil pressure looks good, need to run it around and see if it stays cool. Will try and get everything together tomorrow and come up Saturday. Will bring tent and sleeping bag for my luxurious accomadations, been sleeping in one for over a month, getting used to it.

The wife says no on the containers Don, she is worried about there being anything in the containers that would hurt fish or plants, sorry. So I guess that makes five of us there. If the Ford doesn't work might have to drive the Jetta or the Dodge, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed, might want to keep the tow truck on standby, haha.

fabmandelux 09-28-2012 09:25 AM

Morning Rob! I was sure hoping that fire season would be over and you could come over!

Glad to see you can make it, and I don't care what you drive over here!

kjvforme 09-28-2012 11:25 AM

i'm hoping my Ford

fabmandelux 09-28-2012 11:29 AM

Morning Rob! I'm hoping your Ford also, would love to see it, and you know Harley LOVES Uni's!

Mikey is bringing his 65 (the one I built the Cleveland for). He is leaving it here so we can start the body work. It will be the second in line for the paint booth....

892504x4 09-28-2012 03:56 PM

Since we are heading that way any one need a receiver hitch for 34" frame 67- 72 F series 73-77 F150 & F250, 73-79 F350, 73-97 Cab and Chassis. 500-5000 or 1000-10000 Rated

kjvforme 09-28-2012 07:39 PM

well the fickle finger of fate came down.Took the truck out for a drive and she started cutting out. most likely partially clogged fuel filters. the oil pressure wasn't the greatest, 28-30 psi at 55mph, and 10psi at idle when, hot. I limped the truck home part of the way and it just cleared up all of a sudden. So I'll be driving up in the VW Jetta.

fabmandelux 09-28-2012 07:42 PM

I want to see YOU, don't care what ya drive up in........

kjvforme 09-28-2012 07:43 PM

i think the truck should have come with hearing protection. some joker ran straight pipes up the side of the cab.

fabmandelux 09-28-2012 07:44 PM

Sweet! Not............................lol
