Btw, I bought the 'lil MOOMBA new 14yrs ago. It has A LOT of hours on it and is easily the best thing I've ever bought. There was a time that I had a brand new ski boat and was driving an '84 Toyota 4Runner we affectionately called 'Rusty'. And to think, some people thought I had my priorities messed up... :-roll

I hear you SkySki. I used to have some stuff like that too, but the Judge Stone looked at me and said, " I see a man with too many Toys". Now I have 2 ex-wives, ex boat, ex camper, ex condo in FL. I have replaced the boat and the 2 ex's with a helluva lot better Woman & Boat.

So far, I've got the 11yr old behind the boat on the kneeboard. Here's an older pic with him on the boom:

I don't push them to ride. The biggest reason they don't do it all is they have no peer pressure... I've had kids much younger barefootin', but they saw other kids doing it and HAD TO do it themselves. All my friends w/kids the same age as mine live tooooo far away! :-X15

great pics Sky Ski, looks like fun, and the lake is just beautiful, any fish?

Good Tuesday morning Georgia ! Everyone have a nice day ! :)

GT: I also wondered if you could use that Ski Pole for an outrigger, but I think it is too short. :D

Good Tuesday morning everyone.

Ski,
It looks like a very nice place to camp, and a good time had by all.:-X22

Thanks guys, we REALLY like it there - and its 10 minutes from home!! I'll have to get some pics of my fat butt riding the Sky Ski and barefooting one of these days. :-X18

There are lots of fish. However, the only reason WE know that is from being at the boat ramp during tournament weigh-ins. Apparently, I lack the required skills to hunt fish... :-roll

My EX did not take anything - I kept the 'farm', the cars/trucks, the boats, the campers, the furniture and even the money in the bank! :-X22 Its amazing what a guilty conscience will do. :-roll

Currently working on getting primary custody of the boys now that I've gotten away from having to work out of town all the time!!! :-drink

Jason, my wife and I do a lot of primitive camping. We like Bear creek in Ellijay and Cooper's Creek outside of Morganton. Or anywhere that I can get my 2wd truck in or near a good trout stream or creek. We prefer to camp next to the creek or stream and park where we camp, but are willing to pack it in a little ways.

I can't wait to get my motorhome road ready. The first trip is going to be to the beach !! I don't enjoy tent camping much these days, especially after being in the Army for so long.

Kyle, I just throw 2 lines out the back, cut the motor to a troll, and let er rip!
I'm a fisherman, not a skier :-X04

GT, I hear you. I have an 85 Ranger that I am going to pull out of the water tomorrow and give it a good cleaning to get ready to tighten a line. That is unless I have to come up your way next week. How far is Leesport from Allentown?

koolchange 05-22-2012 09:13 PM

Somebody get the High Museum on the Phone KC's mo-ter done got up in here. What the artist has tried to capture here is the essence of 390 cubic inches of Iron resurrected from a kudzu patch. I am told that inside the pretty Blue Paint resides a fire breathing Soul that made AMERICA the greatest Country known to Man. :-jammin

Happy hump day everyone !!! Weather is crappy. My cheap butt broke down and I got a whopper combo from BK here on post, man it was good, not sure if it was worth the 8 bucks but it was good. Bought some german candy to bring home to wife and kiddo when I come home on leave. Getting closer... :)

koolchange 05-23-2012 07:31 AM

Half over this one is.

Chief: That $8 buck Whopper was a deal. 2 weeks ago I paid $16.87 in the Atlanta Airport for a Turkey and Cheese sandwich, a Coke Zero, and a bottle of Water. Apparently the price of bribing the Atlanta City Government Officials is skyrocketing. Glad to hear you are with the Fam. Go have some Fun.

67: I thought it was close and I will be up that way in a couple of weeks depending on my schedule. I will give you a shout if you are available I would love to shake your hand.

Morning Yall!

Good Wednesday morning everyone..

I started wet-sanding on my tailgate last night.....Then the thunderstorm came in and I had to stop. I think I might have just enough black epoxy primer left to give it a good coating. I sure hope so, but if not I'll need another gallon anyway.
