I put a new throw out bearing in when I did my clutch and it is making noise that goes away with light pedal pressure. What did I do wrong? The prior was in a few pieces when I removed it.

They don't make throw out bearings like they used to

Mine does the same thing with the same situation. It started chirping not long after I swapped in the 5 speed. I grenaded a throw out bearing and replaced it and it still chirps.

Im wondering if the fork is bent.

Every aftermarket clutch I've done on one of these trucks I trash the bearing that comes with it and get one from ford.

Try greasing the pivot ball on the clutch fork, first. That may help.

I need a CC, yes, but I need 4x4 just as much. and I don't need DRW, but I am finding a lot of really nice DRW OBS trucks out there.

I look at this dealers web site ever so often. They always have low mile OBS trucks in mint condition with outrageous prices. Not sure where they find this stuff.
