Iv got a cheap $15 Amazon dongle and whatever is the equivalent to Torque Pro on iPhone. It wouldn't tell me much about my 7.3 but had a ton of input from my 6.0. Theres just not near the electronics on a 7.3

Aarons Ranger is 2wd, but a 4bt 4x4 would be awesome! I know where theres an ext cab 5 speed 4x4 Ranger sitting at a dealer in Eville tho :D

You need to stay AWAY from those dealers! :-X19

How is the house coming? If things work out with me getting move to Covington, I may be able to come up one weekend and give you a hand!

The house is coming along. It's just slower than I'd like it to be. I was hoping to be in around Christmas, but that's looking like less and less a possibility all the time. It's just killing me not being able to devote a lot of time to it. I guess that's life...

Come on up any time. You're always welcome here.

Morning guys. Hope all is well. Here's a couple pics of what's going on here today.

Looks like my area. We only got 6" of the white stuff though. I guess its time to wash up the red truck and put it away for the winter. :'(

Touché lol

Heck, Iv had so low interest in the 6.0l, Im considering keeping it as my DD to keep the miles off the 7.3 and "possibly" putting a small lift and tires on it after the dually project. I took it to a dealership for craps and giggles and they offered me $3000 trade in... Ill yank the motor and drop a Cummins in there before I let it go that cheap. Heck, Id make it a parts truck before I did that!

The town to the west of us got 16 inches. We had to be not too far behind. Yeah its too early for this crap.

I wouldn't mind having the 6.0 if I had the money to "Bullet Proof" it.

El Camino Man 11-23-2015 06:12 PM

^^^ depending on what the future holds itll get that too. I ought to do that first but its not near as rewarding lol! Besides, its been trustworthy thus far

I COMPLETELY agree Bill. I have even been considering a 6.0 for the wife. I have been doing a TON of reading just for fun, but it seems once they are addressed with the bulletproofing stuff, they are pretty reliable and tough. We have one at the winery where I work and it has had the EGR deleted, BPD Oil Cooler, and various other small mods. It is a blast to drive. I love it. I see them all the time for 10-12k...that and 5k to do the stuff and you have a pretty stout truck.

Aaron, you said you "like to work on stuff". Why not have one? I bet you'd make it pretty darn trustworthy. :-X22
