Beautiful. When I grow up (otherwise known as getting the kids out of the nest) I'm buying a 48 F1 with a Flathead motor. Just beautiful.

I got no comment on the way you started that flat motor. Other than she is very forgiving, and don't like starting fluid at all. Bet she would love some octane booster.
Still it was a beautiful thing to hear once she leveled out. |
Funny thing is the video shows it starting not the 5 hours of cranking and dumping gas in the Cylinders flooding it with some stale gas that cleaned the tank and lines. Ever start a Flat8 Arctic Y Block? 6 volt is a slow crank and some starting fluid gives it a boost.

Thanks. It now has the stock exhaust. Sounds beautiful. Will post a video after wednesday when i go to the local car show.

Nice work. Hoping to get ny 52 cranked in the next few days. Waiting on the starter to come back from the shop and I also need to address the exhaust. Original is long gone.
