Body Builders Layout Book download request
Does anyone have a link to where I can download Ford's Body Builder's Layout Book? Model year 2000 would be great but I'll take anything 1999-2004.
I have the 2012 book in pdf format but there are quite a few differences on my trucks so I'd like something more accurate if it exists. Thanks for you help. :-drink |
Greg, I thought you could get the disc free from Ford Fleet? That was a while ago though, I'll have to see if I have a saved version somewhere, I had the 2000 model year.

Trying to find out what the 4 wires are for under the hood marked ( customer access circuits ) Any help would be GREAT. 2001 f-350 7.3 auto, crew cab, western hauler.

They're exactly what they say they are. They're dead ended wires that are there for the customer to use without having to run anything through the firewall. The other end of them is under the dash.

Ford Body Builder Layout Book
Did you ever find the Body Builder Layout Book for 2000? I am looking for 2001 for F-650, but they changed the website so the oldest one available is 2010 and I can't find anywhere to order it from. Thanks

Ford BBAS website update
I apologize for the late bump, but Ford updated their Body Builder Advisory Service website and have made the publications available for download again, going all the way back to 1997.

I"m really confused, but then, I'm new to Fords anyway. I went to that site, and found some things back to 2014. >Nothing< looks to be a build sheet. General specs I see, for newer trucks. But that looks to be general catalog info, not specific options on a specific VIN number truck.
Later I might try to direct contact Ford with a specific VIN number, and see if they can pull the build sheet. Never tried that with Ford. So....., still looking. Thanks for the work to offer what is here today though. |
There is nothing in that link that I can see related to VIN or specific builds, but if you expand "Body Builder Layout Book"...

Again, these are NOT specific to VIN, but the one I downloaded for 2000 MY is 278 pages of some pretty specific data. If you contact Ford and they are able to help you, please let us know who you went through as sometimes when someone calls a dealer regarding information about these trucks, they are turned away. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...faad310c4c.png |
