Thanks for posting. Build date was 4/5. I ordered with the Elocking axle, but it says the truck does not have the Elocking axle.

How can you find out what job your truck was built in and what is the difference from job 1 or 2?

my 11 250 was built 8/23/10

2000silverbullet 04-16-2012 05:24 AM

The build date on that site isn't accurate for my truck. Mine's showing 8/10/10 when I know for fact that it was built 12/8/10.

You have a job 1. The cutoff from job 1 to 2 was 11/1/10. Here's the changes made:

Change)

Pale Adobe Interior

I find it interesting that my truck's feather list says "Less Rear Axle Limited Slip Diff"
I know my truck didn't come with the Elocker...so I thought these trucks came standard with a Limited Slip Diff if an Elocker wasn't installed.

I agree. If the build date was correct for my truck it will confirm my greatest fear that my truck was built the day before a holiday. :'(

Yeah, not everything adds up on the minor features page. Mine states: Less Elect Locking Differential, Less Anti-Lock Braking System..

Both of which my truck has. Who knows what's up with it.

I love that there's a pic of a car (Focus?) next to the vin results and underneath it a message stating *Illustration shows model only. :-huh

I believe this image is only displayed because there is no image for our truck available....as the URL to the image is "http://www.etis.ford.com/img/vehicle/missing.jpg"

I believe you are right in regards to the 'features list'...as my list didn't even mention "Elect Locking Differential"

Unless they made changes with 2011 Job 1 & 2...to the 2012 Job 1 & 2...your truck has an open rear diff...if no elocker.

Only options available for F350 SRW 6.2L =

3.73 non limited slip
3.73 elock diff
4.30 elock diff

...again...unless they made recent changes. :-huh

True statement! Now I remember why I got it. :-X04 No locker = open diff. :-X18 The limited slip was only available in the DRW.

I looked at my trucks original invoice and it says:

3.73 Ratio Regular Axle
Job #2 Build Indentifier

It doesn't say anything about limited slip...

It is a biggie. What the heck am I gonna do with an open-diff 4x4? A limited-slip 4x2 would likely perform better in the mud. I bought this truck under the assumption (assume is the problem) that it was limited slip.
