PERFECT SIZE OF TIRES FOR RANCHEROS 70-79
 

Hey here are my findings today i changed from 215/60/15 to 235/60/15


Pros and cons of each height for these years:

215/60/15:

Pros:

1) Good for street performance. (Street tires)

2) Works transmission less harder.

3) Road handling improved

Cons:

1) Bad for cold states (snow)

2) Makes Ranchero's bottom out in hill based states/areas. (Washington State)

3) Lack of grip in certain conditions

235/60/15:

Pros:

1) Added height by 1-2 inches (No Bottoming)

2) Increased handling in bad weather (Snow) (All Season)

3) Gives more aggressive look and fills in wheel gap.


Con's:

1) slightly a little bit more to pull on the transmission area)
