That's a nice looking tailgate, I remember my dad and grandpa denting the tailgate on the truck they used for pulling there 5th wheel.

Saw 4 today... Two a block apart in Miles City Montana (both in nice shape and creamy white), and two in Billings Montana next door to each other (a red and white crew cab and an orange standard cab)

Where were you driving to? I was down in Dillon yesterday for a girl and saw dozens upon dozens of beautiful old trucks. I saw one gorgeous '69 250 that I needed to take home. The gal liked it also! ;)

I am en route to a new home and job in Northern California. I think when I get there I'm going to burn this d*** fifth wheel. *sigh*

Not going as far as Missoula. Turning south at Butte I think... Have to check my map. Anyway.... Spotted this at a truck stop in Big Timber Montana while I was giving my truck a cool down break (hot temps, altitude, heavy trailer... Getting some vapor lock... Joy Joy... My favorite. Not.

Yup. Passed Dillon I think. Anyway... Spotted this down a side street in Arco ID

I'm in Hailey, ID only about an hour and a half west of Arco. I tell all my friends and family back on the East Coast that this part of the country is like old Ford truck paradise. I see no less than probably 10 dents a day. They're so plentiful I really couldn't pass up the opportunity to own one myself. :-jammin

Seen 4 so far today. First cream colored flatbed passed me on i84 coming into Ontario OR. Second two tone green with the bed loaded with firewood for sale and third red and white in a barn both on route 20 just outside of Ontario OR. Fourth dark brown (almost black) with light tan hood and doors driving around Burns OR.

Also.... Vapor lock sucks :-X09

Edit: and one more just drove past while I was eating lunch in Burns... Really pretty metallic lime green with cab lights on top.

Buy some wooden clothespins and stick 4-5 on the metal part of the fuel line going to carb. Very good chance it will help vapor lock.
