I was in Austin yesterday, and spied a dent still working hard. It's an American Airlines lav truck. Hardly a glamorous life, but still providing a valuable service to mankind!
***sorry about the lousy pics, a combination of my phone, and the glass I was taking these pics through***

The wheelbase looks long on this F-350, probably the longest Chassis-cab dually version. Does this look like the 137" or the 161" WB?

So I loaded up my truck with the lawn mower so I could go mow a friends Yard.

Yes, not really spotting anything as she is my truck but still want to show her off now that I have her back.

On the way home I stopped at Wal-Mart and managed to park next a Bump, again not quite right, but the picture does have a Dent in it,so it should still count, right?

silver dent in this video.. looks like it might be the same exact truck as the one in the "Scotty McCreery - See you tonight" music video (note the dent in the passenger side fender, below the amber side marker light) I wonder how many other country music videos this truck is in?

Good catch! That's definitely the same truck, I just watched both videos and had them side by side to compare lol. Same steering wheel, back bumper, dent in the door, front bumper cocked a little bit down, same wheels and everything. That's interesting, I wonder how because I just looked it up and they have different record labels. Maybe they use the same music video producer or something

Saw this nice shortbed '73F100 at this weekend's GoodGuys show in Pleasanton, CA. It's got DJM lowering components front and rear. The 17-inch wheels are adapted to the 5.5-inch pattern using 1-inch spacers front and rear. Tires are 245/45-17s and 255/50-17s, respectively.

Glad to see a Dent at the Good Guys show. I was going to enter the Candy Cane but I got busy and kinda forgot.

Next year!

Out of curiosity I looked it up. The two videos had different directors. Both of whom have quite an impressive reel of work. The McCreery video was directed by Roman White (who has one ACM, GAC, and CMT awards, including video of the decade for Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats". Shane Drake (Who has ACM, CMT, and MTV awards) did the Brandtley Gilbert video. The videos may have the same production company, but I can't seem to find any information on that...

Pleasanton hosts four shows a year. The next event is the West Coast Nationals on August 22-24. Be there!

That's interesting, yeah it made me pretty curious too. Who knows, maybe the two directors are buddies or something, pretty cool it's the same truck in both videos though.

I'll get myself signed up!

Being in the business. The producer will hire out a production crew to shoot the video that includes directors and other producers as well as the rest of the support staff. Most likely the truck was provided by a prop and car company. These companies supply vintage cars and/or whatever else is requested depending on their level of expertise. I've even been talking to some of them to get Candy Cane in something. (Nothing yet to get me to sacrifice a day of work to get my truck in a movie. Yet...) TV and film production is a small business and everyone knows everyone else. Especially here in California.
