Lawn tractor wasn't a valve adjustment. Just a near dead battery, lit it up with the big charger AFTER I went through the valves 3 times! Cuts real good, never did get the tractor going, tomorrow's another day.

On a sad note, I think I'm going to have to put batteries in the 02, she wouldn't start.

Ford musta used cheap batteries, they only lasted 10 years!!!! Hahahahahaha Charging them now, maybe will prolong the purchase a bit longer........

BPofMD 04-02-2012 03:11 PM

Is the alternator ok?

BPofMD 04-02-2012 03:12 PM

Afternoon Shaun.... how's your Sunday going?

Redneckfordf2502002 04-02-2012 03:36 PM

Charlie our 2002's battery died last christmas on christmas day. The main reason it died was because my brothers don't know how to close the doors on the truck right and after a while it killed the battery where it wouldn't hold a charge. We got the Duralast Golds in all of our trucks on the lot that has a battery at least and they last quite a while.
Anyways, afteernoon all was going to put the new running boards on the 2002 but the wind is killer today up here in Snowflake,AZ so will maybe work on it tomorrow.

I noticed that before on other things, the original batteries always last the longest huh

BPofMD 04-02-2012 04:19 PM

Mine didn't...only lasted5 years.

dustybumpers 04-02-2012 04:20 PM

Yeah, I was being funny, I have never had a set od batterys last 10 years. I normally would have put 2 in today, but I want to see just how long these last. Even though they didn't start the truck, the "eye" was showing green/red. As they have been on charge all day, the "eye" is turning to mostly green
