Any Word on new power plant in 2013?
 

Any definative word on a replacement for the 5.4 in 2013? Hopefully we'll see the EB. Ford should be spooling up in the new few months (hopefully) if it's going to happen... thanks

Ford has said the Navigator is getting the Ecoboost, but they didn't say when exactly. Otherwise, no mention of changes to the Expedition yet.

I think they're trying to hold out until GM releases some info on their 2013 full size SUVs.

Either way, it would be nice to hear something from Ford. It was a major let down to see the Expedition get no significant changes for 2012, when both the F150 and Super Duty saw major changes in 2011.

samehere I am current 2006 explorer owner, and ready to trade it in for the expedition if ford will continue production of it after this year, since they make midsize suv's anymore. I hope there will be some sort of news coming out soon.

I think Ford needs to update the Expy. I just took delivery of one and they are lacking in this area even though the ride and sound system is for better than the Tahoe which I traded. I have a 2012 F150 and they did a great job with this none.
