Am I missing something here??? How do you get a 460 cui engine that equals a 6.2L??? Is it a typo on the video?

460 cui = 7.5L

6.2L = 378 cui

-----

That aside...the engine does sound like it got a good run in! :-X04

It's 6.2L based......meaning they took a 6.2L (379ci) and bored/stroked it to 460ci.

I'd be curious to see what the bore and stroke of that engine is, especially being able to turn 8500rpms like that.

I figure they just stroked it - but I'm not the engineer here.

Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification.

Yeah...be interested to know the details. Wonder if they went .060 over on the bore....

The stroker kits I've seen for the 6.2L are all around 6.6L or ~402ci. I've heard that's about the maximum for a production 6.2l Boss block before you start to run into issues. Even with that bored .60 over you're only talking about ~415ci at most.

At 460ci, I'm sure this engine has a pretty extreme stroke and bore increase.
