Brand new to truck hobby.

Hey guys! I am new to this hobby, but have had plenty of old cars. I picked up a real ugly one, last night. A 1960 f100. It is going to be a mud truck, for now.
The body, is actually in good shape, but that is the only original thing about it.
It sits on a jeep chassis, with a Cadillac engine, th 400 transmission, Dana 60 rear, Chevy steering column. Pretty ugly, for sure! But, at least it isn't getting crushed. I will post pics shortly, tonight or tomorrow.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you might not have too many Ford questions. Enjoy your new truck.

I will post pictures as soon as I can. Been a crazy day working.
What makes the truck ugly? Well, it is a purists nightmare, for one thing.
It was originally a dark green, but now is kind of green/ gray primer, with some blue thrown in for good measure. It is lifted about three feet, has seats from a s10 pick up, a cracked door window, broken hood ornament, slick ass mud tires,
and no exhaust.
ugly just about sums it all up. But I think it has potential.

Also, I may have questions, sooner or later.
I'm glad I found this site!:-jammin

You have to put the photos on photobucket, flicker, or another site like those. Then copy and paste the image code onto your post.

Oh, welcome to FTE!
