One less pain in the butt!

Don't you hate it when a mega-sized image gets posted and you end up having to scroll side to side to see the complete posts on that page? Well, worry no more. Automatic image resizing software has been added to the site! You can access this feature through your UserCP > Edit Options> Thread Display Options> The Image Resizer.

If you leave the fields blank, all images larger than 400px in width or 600px in height will be resized down to approximately 400px in width or 600px in height.

If you enter a 0 into both fields, then the feature is disabled and you won't see any resizing.

You can also set a custom size if you want to. Just be sure to scroll down and click "Save Changes" if you do anything other than leave the fields blank.

Finally a "fix" for something that's bugged me for the last 7 years on here!

Such a shame since my camera can take HUGE letterbox style pictures in HD....:-X04

Thats a good feature & I've used it already, Gig

It's a GREAT feature! AND the tech's are working on fixing it so attachments are reduced also..........

Jigger2020 02-26-2012 06:50 PM

What does that mean Don

The new software that automaticly resizes pictures only works on pictures that are hosted "off site" like on Photobucket, etc. Pictures that are uploaded from a "Supporter's" computer ARE NOT RESIZED. They are working on a "fix" that will resize them also.

So if we post a pic and don't adjust the size it's auto adjusted to a set dimension? And you guys are working to make sure we don't have ads in our posts that take half the page?

Great!:-X22
