Truck in shop

Welp, it finally happened. 113007 miles and transmission is gone. But, getting new one put in and will have her back monday afternoon.

U goin with aftermarket tranny?

DVLSH1 02-18-2012 08:48 AM

No, sticking with ford, had it towed to dealership after being told that all it needed was the computer needing to be flashed, turned out wasnt that at all, was a bad bearing. Plus not too many reputable trans shops here that I would trust my truck to.

well let me explain more LOL was told comp needed flashed because my battery went out. replaced battery and turned out wasnt battery was alternator. replaced the alternator and that is when the transmission problem started. Was told since alternator was disconnected had no power going to tranny and computer erased the programming. turned out it was just pure coincidence it went out when it did

i dont know what deaer youre at but the guy who did my trans at All American Old Bridge is gonna have to do it again before long.. same problem a bearing is bad in them.. of course ive glot slightly less than 100000 miles on mine than you have on yours but the way my 2011 is built i guess its not that hard to believe its gonna go for its third trans since new in august
