Newb Introduction

Hey guys i'm new to the ford community and terrible with introductions. Just bought my 3rd ford a 1995 7.3l f250 with 125k on the odo. Working at getting rid of my subaru wrx and taking a vacation from heavy moding and going back to the basics of having a 300hp truck that I can love without having to wash and wax it every other day. The truck came with a simple list of modifications, protech headache rack, external fuel tank, tool box, 4.5" ss straight pipe turbo back, tuned with a banks chip, and a blown tranny(being rebuilt as i type). I'm planning on getting an air to air, leveling the truck out, aquiring spacers and getting some good a/t tires as well as fabing up a light bar for the rack. Was wondering if anyone knew of where i should go for a good leveling kit and would like to know everyone's two cents on tires. Looking for somthing that can bite but still has good pavement manners (ill be hauling a horse trailer on regular basis). I've had great experiance with toyo a/t's on my previous trucks but am looking to broaden my horizons if there is somthing better.

Cheers,
Blade

Welcome to WAFTE, for spacers and stuff you might look at RockAuto.com, i don't know if they have spacers but it's worth a peak. Other than that you might also look around the F series section of FTE they may have better answers. Hopefully you enjoy the site as mush as everyone else and get all your questions answered.

Oh ya and as for tires, I run 35 x 12.5 x R15 on my 78 bronco and they are Wrangler MTR Kevlar's as far as i am aware they are really nice. I got all 4 with mount/balance and after tax for $954 at the local discount tire. They have good grabbing and side tread but they aren't so aggressive that it rattles the truck to bits on the freeway doing 65 (i think). You may not go with 35s but i think they have smaller. It is worth a look. I don't know so much that they are a/ts more or less Mudders but i use them for daily commuting.

I really like the kevlars, they aren't super loud but they make a nice rumble as your driving. I also did a little dirt hill climb and they seem to do ok.
