One of the toughest things about parenting, is turning loose. Letting them make their own mistakes without allowing it to tear you up. I'm getting there, and my youngest is 29. I'm still not over it, but I'm getting better. So I feel for ya.

Funny..... but in her case it is about 80 miles! You know the So Cal Driving rules... Ten over! if the speed limit is 25 that actually means 35... any freeway is posted 65 but everyone does 75-80.... Heck if you don't you get run over....

That's especially true down by you, from about Seal Beach Blvd down to the 22.

All through there it's NASCAR-time in both directions!

Not lately! with the new freeway HOV construction and the repaving and new Center dividers on Seal Bach Blvd, the drive from Seal beach Pier to Rossmoor used to be 5 minutes max. Now it is a 20 minute ordeal,, until 10pm then you can't even get through because they frequently close the Seal Beach Blvd bridge most of the night It will al be finished in Fall of 2015... if you want to have fun do transtion from N 405 to the N 605, but bring your F1 car for the turns...}>

AMEN Brudda Bill! got the 23 daughter and the son 25.. she is my 2X4 child, gotta hit her in the head with a 2X4 to get her to pay attention. The son on the other hand is sharp, except when he tried to teach his Focus to fly a few years back... 453 ft down an embankment just outside of Prescott AZ. he woke his arse up... got me outta bed too! The AZ state trooper was trying to figure how many times the car rolled, the boys said they thought it was 17 times but they lost count in the dark....... needless to say he got a new Focus after seeing the abuse that the car went through and survived.... Oh he paid for the second one! :-jammin

Continuing our observations of our brothers to the south. Notice the high level of training. And adept use of their tools.:)

This shaking apart is a classic example of ground Resonance...and in this case that helicopter cost 2 million dollars or more.... the Pilot made a really big mistake, I have seen this once before with a CH47 that was ugly!

Guess I should have specified that the race course was on the 405. :)

Remind me to stay out of Eurocopters, too!
