What radiator? 57 F100
 

Got 57 F100 and am looking for a new radiator,what have any body found that fit with out to much modifications.The motor is a 351C and i need the top hose in the center or left and bottom to be on the right side.

Mine is from a '79 toyota landcruiser wagon. Just to show you an example of using what's on hand. I think there is a kitchen sink 'p-trap' involved in the bottom hose as well. I'm hoping to find the correct radiator by next summer, so I'll be watching this thread too. Take your tape measure to a wrecking yard, I think our radiators are pretty generic looking. You might have to drill some holes in the rad or support.

The same radiators were used 1957/60 F100/350. F350's with DRW's have a larger version.

Have y'all tried NAPA to see if they have new radiators available?

I tried NAPA for my '60 but didn't work out. Even tried ordering one for a '74 which was close but too much altering for what I wanted it to look like. I ended up getting a Cool Craft radiator from US Radiator. About two years ago the price was $360 shipped. I see things have gone up but still available for either an 8 or 6 cylinder. The following link is pointed to them for a '57. I was very pleased with their quality. They make the units as you order them right here in the South West! I really hunted around to try to save a few bucks for a couple of weeks but ended up buying from them and do not have any regrets.

I'm running one from a mid 80's F150/Bronco. I got it for cheap at a swap meet. I didn't want to spend a small fortune for a radiator and after two, got tired of buying used ones that leaked.

Look into a mid-70s Dodge D100 truck radiator with the 5.8 engine. This is a three row radiator and the hose connections are top center and bottom right. I'm using one in my 48 with a 350 Chevy and it works fine. It should fit your truck with a minimum of fabrication...:)

I have a '58 with a 351 W and I got my radiator through JEGS. It's a universal aluminum 4 core radiator. I just made the measurements that I needed it to fit in and ordered one that fit those measurements. When I got it, I fabbed some simple brackets and bolted it to the pieces of steel where the original radiator went. Very simple very easy. Plus it was way cheaper than buying the one that originally went in it.

You original post says bottom right. If you need bottom left check out a 68 Ford Mustang radiator for a 390 engine. I'm using one of those for my 302 in my 49 Ford. It's a little harder to install because it's a little wide for my application but may be fine for your 57...:)

I screwed up in my 1st. post it is left,old age is setting in.

I have seen plenty of universal aluminum radiators that will fit on ebay. Type in F100 aluminum radiator in the search bar.

Many will "fit in", but will they look right. It depends what you are after I guess.

Does an aluminum radiator cool as well as copper? Are they only popular because of lower price?
