Strike two on a body shop...
Hello, all..
I'm in the process of trying to find a body shop to fix some rust and paint my 75 F 100.. problem is that the first place I tried it a small shop, and is currently swamped.. second place has steered away from that and is focused on collision stuff. I live near Clarion, PA, and any tips would be great Thanks, Mike |
Check with your local Vo-Tech school
my old tech school took peoples cars in and fixed them and painted them, its not expensive either, if i remember correct you only pay for supplies...just a thought |
if that dont work, look in your phone book for different body shops in the area, or do a search online for different shops in your area, and go from there

Good thoughts there Shane. :-X22

A lot of shops I talked to when I had my Explorer shied away from rust work as they said "they can't guarantee it lasting"...like Shane said try a Vo-Tech school and keep pinging shops...someone is bound to want the work...
|
A Vo Tech School would be more then happy to have it since they are teaching the kids to fix that kind of stuff, so it would be a great learning oppurtunity

Yeah, thanks again for the advice. I think I may have found such a person today. I live next to a gas station (convenient, huh?) and the guy that works there gave me a phone number of the person who works on the owner's classic cars.. He took my number, and we are planning on meeting up on Thursday or Friday of this week.

good thing I was almost out of gas in my car today.. LOL }>
