Headers ?

I have a 390 in my panel, with the stock steering box. I was wondering if there are any off the shelf headers that would fit? If so, what brand and where to buy them from? Thanks in advance!

I have Sanderson Headers. They work perfect. They are the block huggers type headers.

Thank you! Are you running a 390 and a stock steering box too?

The only ones that I see on Sandersons website is for 60-64 full size cars. Are those the ones that you used? Thanks!

The ones I have are the FF427. They fit 390 - 428 cid in 1953-up F100 pickup. Summitt has then for the cheapes price or you can order them from Sanderson.

Thanks again Herb!

How is starter clearance with the headers? Ive always thought about running headers but at the same time i don't want to have to take them off to change a starter.

will headers fit just on a stock truck with a 292

I´m running Sanderson hugger headers in my `60 with a 400, no problems with clearance on starter and steering column. They fit very well, good quality !

Headers

I have a 57 F600 with a 390/5spd/2spd . I used a set of headers from a 75 1/2 ton pickup with a 360 2wd. They fit OK-- very tight on the steering box and the starter. Made quite a difference in power .
