88 Crew Cab Dually 4x4

I have decided to sell my 88 Ford F350 Centurion 4x4 Dually Crew Cab. Basically it was painted 4 years ago but has some scratches on it. Interior needs work. Dash cracked, carpet has been removed and floor painted with black under coat. Been in Arkansas and Alabama its whole life, rust free. Brand new rebuilt engine and transmission. Probably will replace carpet before selling. This is not a for sale ad, I just want some opinions on what its worth because I have no idea.

$4500-$5500 if it is in good shape pics would help though

Let me rephrase that last comment. It will sell right away for $4000, if it is in good shape, people like shinny stuff. If it has a bunch of stuff wrong with it you will struggle to get $3500 out of it.

If its needs a little interior work....rust free....nice paint, the floor having that underbody coat is a BIG plus. I would say (speaking for montana here) its worth at least 4000 and it will sell fast. I put the 83 on craigslist for like a week....keep in mind it doesnt look great inside, but looks pretty good outside....i was getting calls left and right. If it looks as good as your describing, AT least 4500 if not 5000 and it will sell for that here...

if i had a rust free cent 4wd dually conversion id never let it go for 5k.not even close lol.guess that means id have to keep it and run it into the ground first.but so be it.:D

Haha yeah, why the hell would you get rid of a good truck?

AndysFords 01-17-2012 07:26 PM

It sits in my yard and I never drive it, I'm never home anymore and someone else will appreciate it way more than I can. I hate to sell it, I've had it since I was 16, but it hasn't moved in months, it just sits there and someone somewhere really wants it I'm sure. I found another truck like it that is 2 wheel drive and a lot better interior in Tennessee that doesn't run. It has a 5 speed. I'm going to put a lot of that interior in this truck and the 5 speed in my 1984 F250. I always wanted to put a Cummins Diesel in the centurion but I have figured out now I will never get it done, so I'm going to try to sell it.

I couldnt tell you what its worth, but i bought a 91 Crew Cab 7.3 L 4wd Ford F350 for 3500 about a week ago. I got a couple messages on Ebay after the auction ended offering me even more for it, one guy said 3,800, another said 4,000. Granted this truck is in decent shape, the interior is a little shady and the color on the truck is horrible and its non - turbo.. So i would say with the engine in that thing being in the shape you say its in... If you wouldnt mind sitting on it for a couple months, you could probably get 5 grand out of it. But Im not sure, you really have to look a truck over to see what the value is. Id list it on ebay starting out at 3500 and just see where it goes. Keep in mind the truck i bought started at 1,500 and in the last 24 hours jumped up 2 grand.

well, you have to remember these centurions were pretty expensive trucks compared to what ford offered.
the crew cab 4wd's go for much more than any other combo.
now you take a combo ford never offered, the drw crew cab 4wd, add some interior dress up and you have a truck that is now out of the typical value range compared to your normal run of the mill factory ford.a 4x4 dually is a very capable combo.what will most likely hold Andy's back is that it's a 8th gen (not the most favored style) and sports the old C6.
some like yours crazy, are still bringing in over 10k in mint shape.
